MARKETING · COMMUNICATION · COMMUNITY

Experience, curiosity, and a belief in possibilities.

I’m Sasha Sweder. I connect people with ideas they can understand, use, and care about.

My work spans national sales leadership, student communications, writing, and community projects. I’m also studying marketing and communication at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, with my bachelor’s degree anticipated in Spring 2028.

Selected work

My projects combine audience insight with practical communication. Each example shows a different way I approach a question, organize information, and help people connect.

United in the Pride

A campus involvement guide developed from scratch for my Advertising final project. The guide helps students explore clubs and find community, with particular attention to students who may find getting involved intimidating.

My credited role: Editorial & Content Strategist. Created with a student team whose contributions are credited in the publication. This is a course project, not an official university publication.

Delta Sigma Pi social communications

Social content for the Mu Chi Chapter at UCCS, including recruitment messaging, explanations of chapter identity, and event coverage. My work includes a Millennial vs. Gen Z post that adapts the same message for different audiences, alongside educational carousels and community stories.

Focus: audience-aware copy, visual storytelling, and a welcoming chapter voice.

Taco Bell advertising analysis

A collaborative Principles & Practices of Advertising presentation examining campaign examples through the Facets Model of Effects. My credited section analyzes social posts and influencer content, including how visuals, nostalgia, and creator trust shape a message.

My contribution: Social Posts Analysis. Student analysis of existing advertising, not commissioned work for Taco Bell.

Emotions, AI & Manipulation

A student research presentation exploring emotional intelligence, influence, and the way people interpret AI responses. It reflects my interest in the ethical questions that arise when technology becomes part of everyday communication.

Experience that shapes my work

I built and led a national sales team that peaked at 2,500 members. That experience taught me to explain complex information, develop effective training, and support people with different goals and experience levels.

At UCCS TRiO Student Support Services, I create student-facing communications and outreach materials. My background also includes assisting the communications lead at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience, community volunteering, and student leadership.

Writing from experience

I’m the author of This Doesn’t Make Me an Expert. My writing draws on the experience of building a business, leading people, and learning while life keeps happening.

Still learning. Always building.

I returned to college with years of practical experience and plenty of questions. My studies give me new ways to understand why something worked, challenge my assumptions, and make the next project stronger.

I’m interested in internships and professional opportunities where I can contribute meaningful communications and continue learning alongside a thoughtful team.
